Peanut butter & date energy balls

These energy balls are perfect to make as pre or post workout snack and have in the fridge to snack on throughout the week!

  • 100g dates, pitted & softened⁣ (soak in boiling water for 15 mins)
  • 100g oats⁣
  • 30g chocolate protein powder ⁣
  • 125g natural peanut butter (no added sugar)
  • 30g honey ⁣
  • 3 tbsp water
  • Desiccated coconut (optional)
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until a dough consistency is formed.
  2. Roll the ‘dough’ into around 10 balls.
  3. Alternatively if you don’t have a blender – chop the dates really finely and mix all ingredients well in a large bowl before rolling into balls.
  4. Either leave them as they are or roll the outside in some desiccated coconut.
  5. Store in the fridge for up to 10 days.
